Why the server is not running~

I had some genuine fun on Angelo's server .

Runk, its great to hear. Take your time as it is new to you. And like you said once an official release of Bukkit is out, many plugins will be ported. So in time we will be back and running greatly again . (silly Notch wrecking with our Minecrack.)

As for Angelo's server tis always empty when I come on :'(

My server is up at the moment as well if anyone wants to come on. No fancy mods or anything just something to kill the time.

Heh yeah I was going to create a new thread for alternate servers when we wait :p. Which I'll go do now. Yeah I saw it got griefed went to go ride it .

Runk should be sleeping at this hour I believe we'll probably have to wait till he gets home from work or whatever tomorrow before we see the server back.

That being said the sooner I see it the better =D

The server is UP.

Tho without plugins.. These plugins are extremly tricky to fix! Haha.
But i'm currently working to get them going! I've had a pain to install Bukkit, because our hosters do not support Bukkit I had to bypass this and try my own way. Lets hope this works.

<3 Woo time to start trying to build a castle on our server rather then on my private one :p. Quick question Runk. When the bukkit is up and running doe sit have a similar portal plugin as I want to know how far away to start my new castle

There's a plugin called Gates. And I have installed it.
So lets see if it works!

seems like it , The actual Minecraft site was down but that seems to be up again now (at least I can play online again)...

As once again, notch updated his game and our server got outdated.
Now I have to update the server and bukkit once again..
This is getting quiet frustrating ;D

Yeah I can feel you, this whole Minecraft updating thing also starts to frustrate me as a player... having to update all the mods everytime MC updates / looking for updated mods and stuff is time consuming.
Also not beeing able to play properly because of the lacking Plugin support *gnah*

I wonder why Notch rewrites half of the code with every update. Makes the life of modders much harder!

Good question.. I hope they will make all of this more stable soon.

But, who can blame them. Notch is a simple, regular person who just made this game out of fun. He wasn't prepared for it to go this public ^^
And, it's a beta!

So all we have to do, is wait.. But, as I stated in previous post.

Yeah. I'm seriously hoping I can get back today and log on to this damned server.

I mean I'm a patient guy but c'mon. I didn't donate because I thought it'd be funny, I did it for server upkeep to assist in making sure I get an experience that is not riddled with fail.

This is not Runks fault, most Servers have to fight with this kind of issues thanks to the "stealth updates" from Minecraft and the broken Bukkit Server wrapper.
